Guide to Planning Commission Hearing

We’ve also prepared a letter that you can quickly and easily send to the Planning Commission and City Council in advance of the EIR hearings. At a minimum, please address your email to: Amy.Harbin@longbeach.govCuentin.Jackson@longbeach.gov, and lbds-EIRComments@longbeach.gov. It only takes 2 minutes of your time, but your voice can help to save this crucial parcel of undeveloped green space along the lower LA River!

Did You Submit Comments on the Draft EIR?

If you submitted comments on the Draft Environmental Impact Report, it’s crucial that you check whether your concerns were properly addressed in this Final EIR. The city is required to respond to all comments received during the public comment period. If your comments were not adequately addressed, this could be grounds for further action.

Read the Final EIR, Notice of Public Hearing, and Findings of Fact.
